biography

Topic

Adam Christie is an award-winning stand-up comedian, actor, and television writer who has worked on many acclaimed shows such as Schitt’s Creek, Baroness Von Sketch Show, and This Hour Has 22 Minutes. Last year Adam taped a gala performance at the Just for Laughs comedy festival as part of the Will Forte Gala, and another gala performance at the Halifax Comedy Festival. Recently, Adam finished up a 24-date corporate theatre tour across Canada, and just taped an episode of LOL on CBC Radio at the Icebreakers Comedy Festival. He has also been seen on MuchMusic, MTV, CMT, and The Comedy Network.

testimonials

Rounding out the late night show with astoundingly accurate self-deprecating jokes and impressively high energy, Adam Christie proved himself to be the best of the night. The comedian is well-aware that he looks like both "a poor man's John Mulaney" and "Cashier #2," but he has just as many scathing criticisms of himself as he does about the world around him. Christie is insightful, high-octane, and uproariously funny.

Exclaim

“Taking home the top prize of the evening, Adam Christie proved himself to be one of the most compelling acts in Canada. The comedian gave his set incredible energy and kept the audience shrieking through offbeat lines about parent lip-kissers, divorce and writing paid sex off on his taxes. Christie's career is on the rise, and his Top Comic victory is just validation of that. Keep an eye on this one.”
